"Build Engineer

Responsible for the build process of all i production and pilot server orders. This includes order management with our vendor and Sales (for Pilot orders), partner with QE to continually assess the vendors build processes, remotely install all iSite software and validate the overall build in addition to coordinating shipping with vendor and CE Project Manager. Also act as primary source of support for the CE team up until the system goes Tech Live.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage build schedule for all projects and complete builds in specified time frame.
Act as front line support for CE Project Managers on all systems that are still pending Tech Live. This could include troubleshooting system issues or upgrading system to current software versions.
Troubleshoot operating system issues quickly and effectively (Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 Advanced Server)
Troubleshoot hardware issues quickly and effectively (IBM server hardware)
Troubleshoot advanced install issues related to our HA (High Availability) iVault systems
Document all actions taken during problem resolution in both our internal tracking system and our internal knowledgebase system
Occasionally travel to customer sites with QE to perform HA upgrades from older Windows Cluster system when it cannot be done remotely.
Provide various reports as needed

Technical/Functional Requirements:

Client Operating Systems: Windows 2000/XP
Server Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Server/Advanced Server, Windows 2003 Server
Microsoft Clustering
Microsoft Message Queuing
RAID configurations
Microsoft SQL Server 2000
Use of remote software tools such as RDP/Terminal Services and VNC
Prior experience using a CRM to support and document details of customer interaction

Additional Skills:

Experience with imaging software such as Ghost or Altiris
Knowledge and use of Legato AAM/FullTime AutoStart software
DICOM and/or HL7 knowledge a plus
Shavlik patch management system

Experience Requirements:

Must have 2+ years supporting a post-sales enterprise client/server architecture along with a strong knowledge of server hardware setup and troubleshooting expertise. Vendor management and experience in supporting clinical and/or health care applications a plus.


Must have a bachelors degree or similar work experience. Additional consideration given for technical certifications such as MCSE and CCNA.


Salary: INR 9,00,000 - 14,00,000 P.A.
